Revenue generating = amnesty program FTW!

I was pmed by Mike giving me this link:

http://forums.e-games.com.ph/index.php?showtopic=18407

I searched the official announcement and yep it's true!

Basically it's an amnesty program of Cabal Online where suspended accounts, mainly due to botting, can be requested to unblock. Then they have this requirements and once approved, you need to pay 500 EP (it's like game credits). But Php 1 is equivalent to 1 point. So that means to have to pay them Php 500 before they release your account. For second appeal it's going to be Php 1000 na!

Here's another thing that's contradicting:
2. All blocked accounts are proven to have used 3rd party programs; and as such, the email request should contain an explanation of the following:

o Why did the player utilize hack/bot tools in CABAL Online?
o Why should e-Games unblock the account and give the player another chance to start over?
o Apology Statement: admission of wrong doing, and a promise not to violate the Game Policies again.

and then...

First Appeal/Offense – 500 EP
[Full clearance- Account is unblocked; Inventory is set as is.]

Blah... blah... blah...

Second Appeal/Offense – 1000 EP [Full clearance- Account is unblocked, Character is randomly renamed; Inventory is set as is.]
Requirements: 1000 EP, original Copy of Gamer’s Notarized Affidavit* promising that he/she will not violate the game policies again.

In the requirement, it should include an apology statement that they will not do it again. Tapos biglang may second chance pa to appeal. Pagtatakpan pa nila kasi i-re-rename ka. Kahit may kasamang notaryo pa yan, madali lang kumuha nun LOL

If they think that an appeal has a valid reason, why can't they just unban it diba?

I'm totally speechless! Virus in a patch then this?

FTW!
